135 Found!

Hi Everyone, As of May 20, we have located 135 classmates, this is about half of our class! We recently sent out an alumni profile form for you to fill out. If you did not get it, please let me know ASAP. I need them back by June 15, 2007! Look for an update soon, as well as an EVITE to the reunion, which will come in the next few weeks.

Lost and Found Update

Hi Class of 87,
We still have class members rolling in slowly! As of April 24, we have located about 114 classmates. There are approx. 144 missing. If you are reading this and have posted your name on one of the big alumni websites, but have not contacted us directly...please do so. Your email addresses can't be retrieved from the big sites without a membership, so it's much easier for us to contact you if you supply us with your email or snail mail addresses directly. You'll be sure to receive all reunion updates if we have your information on hand. It's just about 3 months until the reunion, we hope to see all of you there! Update to the missing!

Hi Class,
Well the good news is that we've been locating more and more alumni! As of April 1st, we've found approx. 103 of our classmates! The bad news.....we're still missing 155! Thank's to all of you, who've passed along names to us, it's been a great help, but, we still need to find the rest! Please keep working on passing the word. I know many of you said you would let friends know, but we still haven't heard from many that we thought we would have! Look for more reunion information soon. Within the next few weeks we'll post and send out an update. The reunion committe has been working hard to plan a great event that you won't want to miss! Thanks again for all your help in finding the missing....and please keep looking!

Missing Alumni Information

Hi Everyone (from Gretchen),

Below is a list of missing class members. Unfortunately, the list is quite long! We had 258 Classmates, and have found approx. 73. August 4, will arrive before we know it, and I'm hoping we can find as many people as possible. Just in looking at our entire class list, I realized their were several people I could probably find through different friends, and even my mother, who may be in contact with an alumna's parent! We have done our best to have the reunion information posted in local newspapers, VTHS, The Board of Ed, as well as several alumni websites. Still, with all of this, people are only trickling in! Please take a look at this list and see if it sparks your memory...we need your help in finding our classmates! There are a few people on the list who may have contacted us, but your emails are bouncing back. If you think you are one of these people, please let us know your correct email. I'd also ask, that even if you think you don't want to go to the reunion, please still let us know where you are! If you know you will definitely be there....also let us know, so we can start getting a rough count! In early May, we will be emailing out an alumni profile sheet for you to fill out and return. Please look for it and return ASAP, so we'll have time to compile and print an address book of sorts with your information!

SAVE THE DATE: August 4th @ Crystal Springs Resort

Hello Class of '87!

It's a go! We're planning our 20th Reunion for Saturday, August 4th at Crystal Springs. The actual location will be The Black Bear Lodge in Franklin.

We're planning a buffet dinner, booking the room from 6-10pm.

If folks are interested, we can arrange a Happy Hour at 5pm.

There will also be a loosely organized family event, perhaps at Waywayanda, for the day.

There will also be a golf outing planned for Sunday, August 5th. Harvey Bierman is organizing that event.
Preliminary Info:

• Cost is going to be between $90-125/player
• Cost includes everything plus some gifts we can use from the pro-shop
• We can probably book prime time slots for Sunday pretty easily if we get this wrapped up (with deposits from everyone) within 60 days (9AMish start time on Sunday)

Harvey would look to do this on one of their easier courses to encourage spouses/kids/etc for those that are interested. What Harvey needs is to get a gauge on interest ASAP. If you are interested, please email Harvey (hleighb@gmail.com) with your interest level (plus the number of players you'd bring) based on these rates.

Upcoming:
In the next few months will also compile and email out a list including:

• Local lodging options
• Mountain Creek admission and height restrictions
• A list of the local deli's & A&P phone numbers so people can order take out and bring it to the Saturday picnic.

We'll be looking into a DJ, clarifying the menu, and taking in all ideas and looking for more volunteers to make those ideas come to fruition.

In the next month I will create & send out an EVITE for the actual reunion invitation. In order to save money and time, I have decided to only send out paper invites only to those without email. If for some reason you need a paper invite (it will not be fancy), let me know.

There will be another BLOG posting with the class list for those that are "found" - please help us make this list as accurate and extensive as possible.

As I've said in every email I've sent so far, it really is so good to see your names again and hear bits and pieces about your lives. Looking forward to doing this in person.
